Update from Administrator – April 21, 2022

Dear Family Members and Responsible Parties,

This email is to notify you that Newtown Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is in Outbreak Mode due to 2 staff members testing positive. Both staff members were vaccinated and received booster shots. Both employees will quarantine at home.

Staff and residents, who may have been in contact with the 2 staff members, will be tested. I will update you via an email to let you know if there are any other positive test results.

If you are coming in to visit, please complete the Covid Questionnaire, take your temperature, wear your mask,  and wear a faceshield while in the building. Please keep 6 feet of separation at all times.

If you have any Covid symptoms, we are asking that you visit from home.

If you don’t have symptoms. you may still want to call and schedule a Virtual Visit if you feel more comfortable visiting in that manner. Please call 203-426-5847 and ask for Recreation.
