Dear Family Members,
Not exactly sure what happened to my original email that I was in the process of sending to you? But I am re-sending this email in case you didn’t receive my 1st email in its entirety.
I hope this email finds you well and enjoying the wonderful weather.
Covid-19 Update
This weekend we received two residents who tested positive for the coronavirus from area hospitals. We now have a total of eight patients in our area designated for Covid-19 positive patients.
Our residents and staff remain Covid-19 free. As a result, the facility is not in Outbreak Mode.
Visitation Update
Visitation of loved ones continues which makes everyone happy. Our activity programs also are being conducted for the enjoyment of the residents and our dining rooms are open with social distancing measures in effect.
Above all I would like to thank you for your cooperation with wearing masks when you enter the building and during your visit with your loved ones. We really believe wearing a mask is making a huge difference in controlling the spread, as well as vaccinations of our staff and residents.
For Compassionate Care and/or End of Life Visits, full Personal Protective Equipment: mask, gown, gloves and face shields are required. You will be issued full PPE upon entering the facility and can put your PPE on prior to entering your loved one’s room. Prior to leaving your loved one’s room at the end of your visit, please remember to take off your PPE just before walking out of your loved one’s room and discard it in the refuse container inside the room. This is another measure to keep you, your loved ones, our residents and our staff safe.
