Update from Administrator – January 6, 2021
Dear Family Members and Responsible Parties,
This email is to inform you that Newtown Rehabilitation and Health Care Center has 2 residents in house who have tested positive and 1 staff member who has tested positive.
The staff member will quarantine at home and the residents have been relocated to the Covid-19 Positive Unit.
All Personnel Protective Equipment will be utilized by staff as per the Infection Control Guidelines.
CVS has confirmed the second date for the Vaccination Clinic. The date is January 19, 2021 from 10 a.m. -4 p.m. in the front lobby of our facility. For residents who have received the 1st dose on December 29, 2020, the 2nd dose will be administered to them.
For new residents who have arrived after December 29, 2020, a 1st dose will be provided to them on January 19, 2021. For those new residents, a second dose is tentatively scheduled for February 9, 2021.
In closing, we will resume our Friday 1 p.m. call with Family Members and/or Responsible Parties, on 1/8/2021.
