Update from Administrator – January 2, 2020

Dear Family Members and Responsible Parties,

I received notice late this afternoon, that 1 additional resident tested positive from the PCR testing program conducted this week by Griffin Health’s Coronavirus Testing Team. This resident has been moved to the unit designated for residents who have received positive test results.

Staff working on the Covid Positive Unit, will use gowns, gloves, masks and face shields or goggles as they provide care for your loved ones.

The facility has an ample supply of Personal Protective Equipment so staff can change their PPE when moving from one room to the next in an effort to utilize proper infection control practices.

In a special way, let us hold in our hearts and minds the residents on the Covid Positive Unit, as well as all the residents and staff in the facility. We are one large family and we rely on the gentle thoughts and kind sentiments of each of you, our family members and friends.

Thank you for all your support and the many thoughtful messages you have sent in the last few weeks. Know we truly appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Linda A. Urbanski, Ph.D., Administrator and The Leadership Team of
